Secure email with crypto hardware

Address.pub allows you to protect your email like you protect your crypto: on a hardware wallet. Your wallet can generate unlimited unique, un-linkable, and extremely secure email address the same way it generates Bitcoin addresses. The private keys that remain safely locked away in your hw wallet are the only way to decrypt your mail. By design, we are unable to see or log any of your mail.

How is this possible?

TLS encrypted SMTP sessions go in, encrypted messages come out.

When Address.pub receives mail, the transport encryption (TLS) session with the transmitting MTA is terminated inside of a secure enclave. The enclave encrypts the message and produces an encrypted payload that’s safe for public storage.

Public address is a gateway between traditional email senders and modern cryptography. See how it works in the vid below

About

Obviously this would be cool as a web3 dApp with tokenized governance and we’re working on it. We have to process raw TCP/IP traffic and perform blind computation to encrypt mail. Secure enclaves and passthrough servers are the best fit for now. Do reach out if you find a web3 platform that fits the bill. @kcolemangt
